Earlier today a notice was given for the Annual Town Meeting to comply with statute publishing guidelines. Since then, the State Senate has passed Senate Bill 912 to allow the Annual Meeting to be postponed during a Declared Health Emergency. The updated notice is below.

Re: JABA Sponsored Activities
With the Coronavirus Pandemic, social distancing, and the governor’s stay at home directive, the Board of Directors of the Jacksonport Area Business Association have decided to cancel the following events and activities sponsored by the business association. These include:
1. The annual spring meeting for all members
2. The annual Easter Egg Hunt for Children
3. The annual members brunch at Island Fever
The annual Jacksonport Farmer’s Market, sponsored by JABA, will be postponed until further notice but may reopen depending on directives issued by the health department .
In these difficult times let us all work together, pray together, and make it through this together.

The Town of Jacksonport and Door County Broadband were unable to secure broadband grant funds for 2020. We will look into cooperative efforts and hope to apply again for 2021. Thank you to all who supported the efforts.
For the health and safety of workers and visitors, the 2020 Maifest festivities have been canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Please come back in 2021!

We are looking for a few more people to help out with the April 7th election! We are taking every measure possible to ensure a safe environment for pollworkers and voters, including a deep, professional cleaning of the town hall.
