This is an intersection safety improvement project. A roundabout is proposed to improve safety for drivers by decreasing speeds through the intersection and eliminating right angle crashes resulting in fewer severe crashes at the intersection while maintaining acceptable traffic operations. Replacement of a box culvert is also proposed.
Construction is expected to begin in spring 2028. WisDOT is proposing to create a temporary bypass lane to keep WIS 42/57 open during construction.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting or log onto the website to learn more about the proposed improvements and provide comment.
